Mobile App Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Good Dogs of Greenville website, mobile app, listings, content, event postings, Partner Business (paid advertiser) profiles, and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
The Platform is operated by Good Dogs of Greenville, LLC (“Good Dogs of Greenville,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. ABOUT THE PLATFORM

Good Dogs of Greenville is a local discovery and advertising platform designed to help dog owners find dog-friendly places, events, and services. The Platform provides:

  • Listings of dog-friendly locations

  • Information about local businesses

  • “Pup Perks” and promotional offers

  • Event postings submitted by businesses

  • Featured content from Partner Businesses (paid advertisers)

Good Dogs of Greenville is not a pet care provider, agent, broker, or representative of any service provider listed on the Platform.

2. PREFERRED PARTNER BUSINESSES (PAID ADVERTISERS)

Some businesses featured on the Platform are Preferred Partner Businesses (paid advertisers) who pay to promote their services, amenities, or events.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Good Dogs of Greenville does not own, manage, employ, or operate any Partner Business or third-party service provider.

  • We do not conduct background checks, licensing checks, insurance verification, criminal screenings, or professional vetting of Partner Businesses.

  • A listing, badge, feature, or presence on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, recommendation, or validation of safety, quality, or suitability.

  • All Partner Business services (including dog boarding, daycare, grooming, training, walking, pet-sitting, veterinary services, or any other service) are entirely independent of Good Dogs of Greenville.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether a Partner Business or any third-party service meets your needs.


We strongly encourage you to conduct your own due diligence, including checking references, licenses, insurance, safety practices, policies, credentials, and reviews from independent sources.

3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to:

  • Exercise your own judgment when choosing any business or service.

  • Perform your own vetting before engaging with any Partner Business or third-party provider.

  • Review all policies, safety practices, and requirements of any provider you choose to engage with.

  • Accept all risks associated with your interactions with any advertiser, business, service provider, or event host.

Good Dogs of Greenville is not responsible for interactions, disputes, transactions, injuries, losses, or outcomes between users and any Preferred Partner Business or third-party provider.

4. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

Information on the Platform—including articles, guides, listings, recommendations, and content provided by Partner Businesses—is provided for general informational purposes only and is not professional, legal, medical, or behavioral advice.

Always consult qualified professionals for decisions related to dog health, training, safety, or behavior.

5. EVENT POSTINGS FROM BUSINESSES

Partner Businesses and approved organizations may submit event listings to the Platform.

By posting an event, the business confirms that:

  • It has the legal right to host the event

  • All information provided is accurate

  • It assumes full responsibility for the event, safety, animals, attendees, and compliance with all applicable laws

Good Dogs of Greenville is not responsible for any event, activity, promotion, or experience hosted by any business or third party.

We may remove or refuse event submissions at our discretion.

6. YOUR ACCOUNT

To access some Platform features, you may create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Not share your account with others

  • Notify us of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (LIMITED)

The Platform allows limited content submissions, such as:

  • Event details posted by businesses

  • Promotional content provided by Partner Businesses

  • Photos or descriptions submitted during collaborations or promotions

By submitting content, you grant Good Dogs of Greenville a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and publish your content in connection with the Platform.

You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, infringing, or inappropriate.

We may remove any content at any time.

8. PLATFORM CONTENT & ACCURACY

We strive to keep information current, but we cannot guarantee accuracy, reliability, completeness, or availability.

This includes business hours, amenities, policies, pet requirements, event details, venue rules, and any other listings.

All information on the Platform is used at your own risk.

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES

The Platform may include links to third-party websites, services, social media profiles, or content.

Good Dogs of Greenville is not responsible for:

  • Third-party content or accuracy

  • Third-party services or products

  • Any transactions or disputes between you and third parties

You access third-party sites at your own risk.

10. PROHIBITED USES

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Violate any law or regulation

  • Impersonate another person

  • Advertise without permission

  • Post harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content

  • Interfere with security features

  • Introduce malware, scraping, or automated data extraction

  • Harass, threaten, or harm others

We may suspend or terminate access for prohibited activity.

11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We make no warranties of any kind (express or implied).

  • We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, availability, or uninterrupted use.

Your use of the Platform is at your sole risk.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Dogs of Greenville is not liable for:

  • Any injury, loss, damages, disputes, or claims arising from your interaction with any Partner Business (paid advertiser) or third-party provider

  • Any actions, omissions, negligence, misconduct, or services performed by a business listed on the Platform

  • Any event, promotion, perk, or service hosted by a third party

  • Any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages

Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the incident (if applicable).

13. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Good Dogs of Greenville from any claims, losses, liabilities, or damages arising out of:

  • Your use of the Platform

  • Your interactions with Partner Businesses or third-party services

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Any claims made by businesses or third parties related to your conduct

14. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the Platform at any time.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
